Best shop in Seattle Area.. perhaps in US
Not to steal the thread from previous post.. re: Acura of Lynnwood
However, i believe the best place in Seattle for servicing your NSX will be Danny from Hong's Honda/Acura.
When i had my NSX 5spd to 6 spd tranny swap, i had a nightmare with a performance shop in Kent.. After numberous repair attempts, they were extremely irresponsible wanting to charge me 1,000+ dollar labor alone to drop the tranny again.
Anyways, Danny (from Hong's Acure/Honda) knew about my nightmare, and offered to help (he normally dont like to work on NSX; he rather fix civic accord, or legend .. fast in and out cars for faster turn around).. Danny took his time and help me to get my 6 spds tranny apart,,, found the problem, look his time to search a ballbearing set for me (instead of having me to purchase the complete set from Acura for $ 2k), checked it again, until fix it completely. For labor plus material.. Labor was only $ 350.. Total parts + labor was less than 600, no surprise charge at all! And most importantly, no problem whatsoever since.. Also, because of back order of one other part from Acura,, my car was sitting on the lift for 6 or 7 weeks... Never one complaint from Danny.. or any attempt to charge me...
I was/am extremely pleased..
My buddy had his NSX to swap the suspensions.. originally quoted for $150 and ended up $120.. "because it was easier than anticipated" according to Danny. when was the last time you have a pleasant surprise from an auto repair shop?
Although my NSX only has 34k miles.. i am going to bring it for him to replace my timing belt.. just for the heck of it.. that is how much i appreciate him!
if you are interested, maybe you can give him a try!
