Hi everyone,

I'm most definitely new here :)
I recently bought a '97 NSX with 20,000 miles on it. Mint condition. Unbelieveable car this is... I'm in heaven right now.

Anywho, let me get to my question. I stumbled onto this site about 2 months and I've been looking for a set of Mugen M7's for this car. With no luck.

Q: To the veteran/new NSX Prime members, how often do you see these M7's for sale here?

Q: Do you recommened any place in particular for finding these wheels?

Q: What are my chances of finding these? honesty.

Q: Finally, should I get in line for these wheels?:D :D :D

Thank fellas,
Manny

Q: ...how often do you see these M7's for sale here?
Twice ever, is what a search would reveal.

Q: What are my chances of finding these?
I wouldn't bet on finding them for sale any time soon.

Q: Finally, should I get in line for these wheels?
You better find the line first! :D

Welcome, Manny. :)

Manny,

I know one guy here in the US that has a set of Mugen M7's on his NSX. EXTREMLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYY Hard to find and get ahold of. you WILL NEVER find them, trust me I looked.

They are no longer available and discountinued.

I might be purchasing them from my friend at a nominal price. But they are much worth it

The M7's were only released from King Motorsports, as the us distributor. Not alot of people knew about these wheels, when they came to the Us. From what I was told from under 3 sets came to the us, back in the early 90's. The rims were made of aluminum forged. They weigh about 12lbs each, a tad lighter than the TE37 Here is a picture:

thanks !

So if you want light, and you want some Mugens, why not get some M10's? Hell of a lot better looking than the M7's, but that's a personal opinion of course. ;)

I have seen a set for sale on ebay 2 months ago and they were 15/16 combo that's why I didn't pay any attentions. besides the lightness, I think it's not that attractive... jmo.

there is a guy here in Houston with a set of these on an older model accord. I would defintely say the MF-10's are MUCH nicer. These are just popular b/c of how rare they are. I for one, LOVE rare stuff, but this one is just a bit too....sorry if I offend anyone...ugly. they just don't look good on any car, anywhere, anytime. Maybe I'm stating my opinion too strongly, but really, look at them. hahaha

if you want Mugen, MF-10's! :)

Go ebay if you trust it... i know a friend that just bought some mugen wheels for about 600 a set used... Thats where i bought my tecnomagnesio's as well! The MF8 and Mf10 look nice as well though. Does the Spoon SW388 have a pattern to fit the NSX? That would be pretty cool and lightweight.:)

Thanks for the help everyone. I'm still hunting for these, although I'm not sure how long my patience will last.
I never considered going through King, but I'll see what I can get out of that..... not much I suspect. Thanks for that.

A friend of mine has a clean set of 16/17 Mugen M7 wheels specifically for a NSX. He was using them on his S2000 and offered to sell them to me but I really don't care for the look of them on a NSX (I may put them on anyways for a quick photoshoot). If you're interested, PM me for more details.

I am interested in the mugen m7's if they are still avalible

these rims are very hot!

Funny how tastes are so different...to me, they are less desirable than stock wheels, but to others, the finest! Good luck on your search and welcome!

i just sold a set to some guy on the east coast for 4k

Mugen M7s are nice, but I don't really like them on the NSX because they look so small. I think they go better with Integras and Civics. They are extremely hard to find because my friend has been looking for a set for his project car for a while. Also, the ones that are in good condition are demanding a high price.

If somebody is really hard up for a set, here is a set being sold at a high price: http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1347888

The guy is legit. He came by my place about 6 months ago when I sold him a set of other Mugen wheels and we both owned & drove RHD cars at the time. I remember when my friend found the same NSX M7's for under 2g's and then sold them to somebody for over 5
