Anyone with the RM front lower lip have fitment problems?

Just as the topic says, I'm wondering if anyone that used the RM front lower race lip had any fitment problems. I bought two RM lips and the fitment is horrable. It is too narrow. I can bolt it up but it really pinches the lower valance. Also only about 9 of the 13 bolts are actually usable. Fortunately it is enough to hold it in place solidly and once on you really can't see any distortion of the lower valance, but I'm thinking of selling one of the lips but I would hate to sell it to someone with fitment that bad. Is this just the nature of this RM product or did they have a batch of poor fitment lips and I was just unlucky? I know it is not my car because I also test fit it on a brand new unmounted OEM lower front valance and it did not fit well on that either.

Hi Chris,
I recently installed the RM chin spoiler with the brake ducts and had some similar problems. On my 1991, a few holes were significantly out of alignment and I know that it was not my car because I just removed the OEM chin spoiler without a problem. The RM spoiler also took a lot of convincing to fit properly and there are still some gaps if you get up close on it. I don't think that it was just your 2 spoilers, I think they were made that way. I was also un-impressed on how rigid they were, I am just waiting for the thing to shatter and there goes $100 something dollars.

Thanks for confirming the fitment (Or lack thereof) for me. Mine is painted white (Color of my car) and will be used only for car shows so it is not too much of a problem. I just wanted to know in case I do see the spare I can let the buyers know that this is just the nature of the product.
