Diego......

I was in Oceanside 30 minutes north of Sasn Diego. I drove from San Francisco to there in about 5 1/2 hours. Had to break her in!

new block

well, i had a coolant leak, then took in to dealership immediately, the engine tested & found head gasket leak. Found out that the headbolts were coming apart and then sent pix to Honda of Japan. Japan said, "give him new block" So i have a new block & told them to put in a stage 2 comptech clutch while they're at it with a new timing belt too! So basically i have a new motor!!

Bay Area

I see you are in SF. You should come to the next Bay Area NSXCA meeting and let us get a live look at your nice ride. April meeting is this Saturday. The May meeting will be at the Blackhawk Auto Museum with a group photo out front and lunch afterward (possibly a drive too). The weather should be excellent. Check out the Northwest forum for details.
For any others who are in the Bay - don't miss the Blackhawk tour/meeting in May - it will be lots of fun.

what do you mean by "give him a new block" was it replaced free of charge? or did you have to buy the new block? is your car still under warranty? im curious because i would think that a new block would be BIG money.

Yeah, car was under warranty! Thank all the powers to be!! Warranty expires 4/15! They told me that the block alone was $10k!! All i forked out was just for the Stage 2 clutch & flywheel!
