This car is back up for sale from a dealer and is still reporting only 1200 miles on the oh doh. Does anyone know what is going on w/ this car?

I can understand the possibility that the report from 03/11/2004, listing milage at 45,000 might be an error, but now it says 1,200 miles, where the carfax showed 1,400 last year. 
I emailed the dealership and have not received a reply yet. Surprisingly unmotivated to sell a 65k+ car...
Just looks like a typo, dealer says 1254mi car fax says 45,000. looks like the dealer has a dyslexic doing the paper work.
If this car has 45,000 miles or more on it, then is a $69,000 asking price reasonable?

Does anyone have any insight into this car? It appears that there may have been some inconsistant reported mileage. I have spoken to the dealer and they say that it is a one owner car. They informed me that the car was on consignment back in 02 and listed on ebay but never sold.
Anyone know or have seen this car? Can someone check out the car for me? I am in CA and if everything checks out, I am looking to fly out ASAP.

Ok...I know there hasn't been any discussion on this topic for over a year now. However I wanted to clear up a few things that were said. I do not know how I came upon this forum, but I am glad I did. I was the original selling dealer that was selling the vehicle for the owner on consignment. In fact my father had delivered the vehicle new back in 1999 at the orginal Acura dealership here in MN.
I was very motivated to sell the car, however being that the car had only 1200 miles on it, which it always had when I was in possesion of it, the previous owner wanted all the money for it. I explained to him for the longest time that the asking price was out of the park.
I had the vehicle all the way through sept. of 04. The car fax was right, up until it was reported at 45,000 miles. Someone had called my store and mentioned that to me, it was probably one of you gentleman, and I was just as confused as anyone here.
I investigated into the reason why it was put at 45,000 miles and know one could give me a straight reason. The process to dispute the whole discrepncy I was told would take 6months or longer. I did what I could and then decided that the owner, who is a car nut and had many different toys, should take the car back and drive it until we could settle on a more resonable number to sell the vehicle at. I had sold a Mercedes for him in the matter of 30 days the same time he brought the car to me. He just loved the NSX, who wouldn't, and didn't really care to sell it.
Now, we all noticed that the carfax stated Mcars, Inc. had listed the vehicle for sale at the 1,200 mile mark in 2003. When the carfax was reporting the 45,000 it just listed some dealer with no name in 2004. So in defense of Mcars, Inc. I would have to state that it was not an error on their part and most likely one of carfax's many mistakes, hence the reason they are in a class action lawsuit at the present date.
So if anyone does come upon my response here, I would greatly apprecitate the understanding that MCars, Inc. had no error in paperwork or was misleading or crooks of any way shape or kind.
And obviously the owner had come to terms and came down to a more resonable price and someone got a great deal on a great car.
