Welcome to the club! Don't know about service in San Mateo, but go to the Parts For Sale section of this website and look for upgrade parts. You can also post under the NSX Parts wanted section if you are looking for specific parts. Good luck!

There are two shops in the area that I have personal knowledge of: Hilltop Auto Service in Daly City and Foreign Affair in Santa Clara. I like both, but use Foreign Affair because it is close to me. I know lots of people on this Forum use these two shops, though there are other good ones too.
As for wheels, it is really best to decide based on what you like. You will really get the full gamut here on this list when it comes to opinions. But if you want real feedback, post pictures.
Oh, and if you haven't discovered it, try the search button and read the FAQ. There is a great wealth of info already out there just waiting to be read.
