Look up someone that sells industrial conveyor belting. Even a used piece would work, and pick up a piece of aluminum angle from the hardware store to go along the top edge. Any competent garage should be able to put it on for you.
Also you could try any place that sells and services RV's, I see a lot of class A motor homes with add on's to protect the cars they frequently tow.

Conveyor material would be just right. Now why didn't I think of that.
