I'm probably going to be replacing the blown Bose speakers in my NSX in the next few months, so this forum has definitely been a great source of info. One issue I haven't seen addressed though is how to go about running speaker wires.
My plan is to keep the stock head unit and put an aftermarket amp in the trunk. I'd imagine many people who have upgraded their stereo have a similar set up, so I was hoping to hear about anyone's experience in getting the wires from the amp to the doors. I'm sure it's not an easy task, I'd just like to get a better feel for just HOW big of a pain in the butt it's going to be.
Personally I don't have much experience installing car stereos, but I'll be getting some help on the install from a friend who worked at a stereo shop for 3-4 years and has done several installations on his own. I doubt he's ever worked on anything as cramped as an NSX though, so I'm wondering if it might just be a better idea to find a good stereo shop and let them do the install.
