NSX chick magnet?

Kevin (NemesisX) and I were talking about this yesterday. Would you really want a girl who is attrated to you because of your car? No doubt, this car will attract attention from women.

Unfortunately magnets don't stick too well to the NSX because it aluminium. :D

As for your inital question, I have found that the age group and sex attracted to the NSX falls into the 8yr old and up males. So, if you're looking for a boyfriend, yes the NSX is a magnet. If you really are looking for a "chick magnet", you are better off buying a VW Bug convertible. Which btw, I have seen a few salvaged ones for sale online.

I disagree. Today's quick run downtown had me answer questions from 3 dudes, return the thumb up to another 7 dudes, rev the engine up 2 times following the request about half a dozen dudes, and watch about 60-70 males any age look/point/drool at the car without engaging any conversation.

Numbers of female any age realizing the car was even there: zero

The NSX is definetly a dude, not a chick magnet...

Hmm...you know what? You are probably right. A lot of my female friends don't even know what an NSX is. I stand corrected. :)

LMAO...my wife just came in my computer room and asked me why I was laughing so hard.
(for those that don't know why I'm laughing so hard, just follow all of Superus's threads and read some of the replies...you get everything from "painting the red top to black, even though he doesn't like black" to "salvaged NSX's". Thanks for making my weekend !
Oh, which reminds me, I need to take my weekly test at:

I have to agree with you...the only conversation I had with this car so far (3 weeks) since I got it was with my son's three daycare (female) teachers...the youngest being 58 years old. Most questions/comments were from males 13yrs and up.
Thus, I am selling mine on: http://home.comcast.net/~pko5

(I can't believe I'm responding to this initial thread, but hey I'm bored and I had to plug my car for sale).

LoL I made myself laugh when i visited my salvaged thread

i said " i can't wait to Chainsaw the roof all by myself"

Lol funny stuff

HEY PKO I LIKE THIS FROM YOUR AD

"Misc note: the more I drive this car, the less I want to sell it...on the other hand...I'm getting wayyyyyyy too much attention when I drive around this car...I almost feel uncomfortable with all the people looking/staring at my car and then looking at me up and down...man...only if I were single again with this car...I wouldn't have time writing this long sentence."

SINCE YOU GET ATTENTION FROM GUYS YOU WISH YOU WERE SINGLE?

LOL....I couldn't think of a better sales pitch than that...I'm sure it will attract some people who will pay the money to get attention from men or more older women who are in their 60's and 70's. For example, someone who was neglected from their parents when they were a child or other children in the same sex category. Who knows! Anyhow, I'm taking my honey for a ride! My wife is out with the kid shopping...hehehe.

In all seriousness, cars are not chick magnets. (shatters all our mindsets! :D)

However, once you have a woman's attention, a good car goes a LONG WAY to impressing and keeping her attention. Women can be so materialistic.

I totally disagree. Cars are like your resume, it gets you the interview, but it's your presentation that ultimately determines if your get hired or not.

Good analogy Mis0.

If the NSX is a resume, a lot of chicks that look at it says "overqualified". All that's left are the gold-digger /materialistic /superficial chicks. :(
like you said, your presentation determines if you get hired. The NSX goes a LONG WAY to ensuring you do. ;) but first you have to get her attention - few cars do.

IMHO it's best to meet the girl with no car... then impress her with it later when she's determining if you're a good financial investment for her. (don't deny it ladies - you all do it :) )

I think many women are influenced by what you drive, each car attracting certain types of women. My experience shows that a great house is a significantly better chick magnet.

No offense guy, but there is no way that is a 10K mile car. I don't care what the doctor dude you bought it from said.

You think I should sell it then? How can you sell from the pictures? Carfax? I had it checked by a few so called "experts" in the NSX world and they confirmed with me that 10k miles is just about right. Maybe I should have contacted you first. Help me out. I can still get my money back if I want...thanks in advance. You can e-mail me at [email protected].

Since you plan on selling it, why not just ask for you money back instead?

Why? What's your concern here? What is your basis for your assumption? Why made you say "No offense guy, but there is no way that is a 10K mile car. I don't care what the doctor dude you bought it from said". Are you saying the doctor is lying? If so, how can you tell? I want to know these things so I can take it to Autowave and pass along your opinion.

Paul.
