Lately I've been seeing on ebay a parts list CD for our cars (as well as the service manual). They claim to be the same thing they use at the dealer when looking up a part for us. This CD has the part name and number.

Does anyone have this parts list CD? From the pictures on ebay I say it looks exactly like the one the dealer uses. If someone did purchase one from ebay how has it worked for you? Pros/Cons if any?

Can I download it off the net somewhere? It sure would be easier for me/them if they didn't have to look it up. Maybe someone who has it can make me a copy? :)

Don't buy on E-bay!! all the EPC's (electronic parts catalogue) can be found on the net. And yes they are exactly the same as HONDA has. I'm not going to publish the adress, but pm me for more details. I'm not sure it's legal to have EPC (all prices are on them)

Service manual in same location.

Ok, we are not talking about some paper copy that is on prime, but the real thing EPC!

In short. It's a CD-rom with all partcatalogues from all Honda-Acura vehiciles that exist. You choose year, model, even State (CA looks to have some differences) or if you want to make it easy, fill in your VIN. Then you choose what sort of part... emblems, electric, engine, drivetrain, .... Then you get pictures with all P/N, even different makes of parts if that is the case. (for example timingbelt (2 or 3 different P/N depending on what make, this is not really for the NSX but for example the del-sol, different years, countries = different makes of parts) It's the same CD HONDA and ACURA use. normally the CD's are even linked to a dealership and they order straight into the main HONDA database from within the CD.

Bart is correct. It's not the same thing as the paper parts list. The CD has info on the other cars as well. Although they can be found online, I'd like a copy on CD so I don't have to go online for it all the time. Bart, do you know if it can be downloaded and copied? I'll send you a PM.

Ahhh...got it. Seems very handy. I've only viewed the one on Prime and it seems to be the exact(at least exploded-parts-view-wise) from the one at the dealer.

The title of the auction is "1995-2004 ACURA NSX OEM Factory Service Manual SET" so I assume that it is not the 1991 pdf file from NSXPrime. It seems that most auto manufacturers have electronic copies of their manuals (a good thing). I ordered a CD from another guy on Ebay for the S2000 presumably from Honda. I'll post about it's quality after I receive it.

I just look up parts (with current part numbers, years, pricing, BOMs) here - http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org

Just pick Acura parts, put your model and year NSX in the drop downs and browse online to the parts and prices.

Couldn't be easier.

You can then email one of the discount NSX part vendors if you wish.
