I have read that Basch has converted many cars to freeze 12. I am looking for those who might be running it, and I am interested to know what was done. Were O-rings changed, oil changed or added? How has the system performed?

I hate to say it: but I did this conversion to my buddies Ferrari a year ago. Works great and no problems.

Changed no hardware or seals. I did add some oil when I was doing the conversion.

Due to different pressures you either only add 60%-80% (can't remember) of the original R-12. Most of the Freeze is R-134 with some blending.

However, R-12 is still quite available. I have about 30+ cans and it is freely available on Ebay if you have your MVAC card (which I assume since I think you need it to buy Freeze).

Bonus information: The manual for the Ferrari mislabled the High and Low pressure nipples. My buddy actualy took my word for it and allowed me to operate [correctly] in violation of the manual.
