PRIME is SlooOOOoowing Down?

Gents,
I am using cable but yet I find prime really slow now. Is someone here hogging up all the bandwidth? It has been slow for for sometime now..hoping that it would change. Well, now I am making an inquiry if it is me.....................

Yeah, NSXTASY, 92NSX, Myself and Lud are the highest posters... so we're to blame.


The real reason for the slow down is because the server's CPU is underspec-ed. It's currently a 1.8GHz proc with 512MB of RAM and regularly peaks at 100% load. That's mostly due to the PHP scripts.

It certainly bogs down sometimes but overall it is not "really slow" all the time for me. If it is always really slow, there is probably something on your end. If it is only on occasion, it's probably that we need to upgrade to a faster server. I plan to upgrade servers as soon as I have time for the project, probably in June or possibly July.

Nah, just stick an SOS or CompTech decal on it. Since they can add a couple of HP to our cars, maybe they would increase your processor speed.

This computer alone must be at least 5GHz *AND* gives you a tan.

That box should bring out the EPA for a UV warning.
