Rich,
Hello. I am a proud, new owner of a '99 Kaiser Silver NSX. I made my Marriot reservation for Friday night. Unfortunately, my wife and I have a prior engagement on Sat, so we will not be able to attend dinner. I just sent in my NSXCA registration, so I am waiting for my membership #. How many NSXs are you expecting? What's going on Fri night? Looking forward to the show.
Jesse

Hi Jesse,

WELCOME!

As of today I have 20 NSX's but expect more registrations to arrive.

Most of the people arriving at the hotel Friday night have travelled a good distance. We generally have an informal (pay as you go) gathering in the hotel for a snack / meal and drinks as people arrive.

We also distribute goodie bags and registration packets as owners get in. Those whom arrive in daylight clean and preen their NSX's.

When you arrive go the rear of the hotel. There will be a closed off parking area there. There is also a rear entrance to the hotel.

What is you E.T.A.?

Don't worry about the Club Membership number. You can send your registration in, without waiting for it.

I will send out an e-mail to everyone that registers before the event.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Look forward to meeting you.

Cheers Rich

Rich,
I had no idea that we'd be able to gather 20 NSX (of couse I'm new to this). That's going to be fantastic. I'm lucky if I see 2-3 per year, and I always chalked that up to the fact I live so close to Lime Rock. Masha (my wife) and I will be arriving between 8:00 and 9:00, since we live around 3 hours away. Good to hear there will be other guys there since we will be missing the sat night dinner. Thanks for the info. Can't wait.
Jesse

There will be other owners arriving before and after you. We had 27 NSX's at last years event. Friday is a fun time.

Right now we have about 6 NSX's from NY/ NJ. So you may run into them on the way up.

The show Saturday could be very large. They are going to raise a great amount of money for Make A Wish.

Some of the Viper guys are also staying at the Marriott. Not sure how many, but last count was about 5 or 6 from the NY area.

It should be a blast.

Rich

Bob,
Hello. I will be watching for the caravan post to NH. I see that you are organizing the ride this weekend to NJ. Unfortunately, I have plans (which include new OEM Potenza's for my new baby). Also, I have emailed DocJohn and Peter regarding LRP on 6/12. I live maybe 10 mins away, so you guys will see me there. Sorry, no track time for me, but I do want to meet the crew. I'm going to check out the pictures from last year now.

Rich,
I had a feeling that Fri night was going to be entertaining. I'm not sure my wife is going to have such a great time on Sat, but maybe Fri night will make up for it.

See everyone soon.

Jesse

Jesse,
I'll be going from Pleasant Valley, NY on Friday evening to the NH event.
I'll also be going to Lime Rock Park, Saturday over the Memorial Day Weekend.
I have the 96 Red NSX you blew your horn at on Rte 44 at my cousin's house in Pleasant Valley, NY. (the one with the 20 or so Corvettes on the lawn)
Welcome to the fold.

Jesse,

There will be other things going on at the Bud facility. Tours, a museum, food, music and the Clydesdales. I am sure she will have fun.

Some S.O.s come into these things expecting the worst, but most end up having a great time.

Just keep telling her it's for the kids.

Hi Joe and Bob.

Rich

Joe,
I was going to e-mail you to ask if you knew that red NSX I saw. I thought it might be you. I saw your car at that house about 2 years ago (back when I was only dreaming), but I hadn't seen it since. I would have stopped in the other day, but I was racing home for a dinner date. I'm probably going to Poughkeepsie tomorrow, so I'll keep looking. I will not be going to the Memorial Day events at LRP, but maybe you could stop in on your way through -- just to meet. I'm just down the road from the clock tower in Sharon, CT. As far as NH, we should all definitely organize this caravan. Sounds like a good time.
Jesse

If you intend to attend and have not sent your registration yet.

Could you please PM me the following.

Not too late for the NH NSX / Exotic Show

I have had a few inquiries about event registration.

It is not too late. The more the better.

Send in your registration ASAP.

Rich

hey jesse, did you happen to have your car at acura of avon last week?

i saw a kaiser silver there. looked very nice. saw one on rte 6 too. not sure if it was the same car.

Pixelhaus,
I hope it wasn't the same car because it was supposed to be at the shop all week. :) Yes, that was my girl at Acura of Avon. Thanks for the compliment. Did you have to bring yours in (assuming you use Avon), or were you just driving by? I needed new tires, an alignment, valve adjustment, fluid changes, etc. Finally got her back last night, and she really sounds better. No more ticking behind me. Sounds like she should.
Jesse

yes! she was a beauty! i take my car there a lot. sean does the work on my car.
let me know when you're taking it in next and i can shoot by and say hello. i'm only 20min from there in farmington.

that is funny though, i did see an identical nsx on route 6! and, i RARELY see any nsx's in the area. only a red and a green that i believe was not from the area.
there is a very good chance that it was your car. i highly doubt that there is another kaiser silver in the local area (not trying to worry you or anything)

(the first time i took my car there they put about 30miles on it. i was a little anal and knew the miles before hand and called them on it. i'm not a real jerk about those things, but i just don't like the idea of unnecessary joy riding without my knowledge. i debated on even bringing it up, but i decided that it would keep them in check in the future. keep an eye on your mileage next time!)

is jay your service rep? if so, tell him i said 'hi' if you see him.

take care,

james

James,
I'm ususally a benefit-of-the-doubt guy, but this does smell. Probably he just fine tuning the valve adjustment -- ha ha. I guess I was a bit remiss by not checking the mileage before and after. Next time -- definitely. Hopefully though, my next visit won't be for awhile. Yeah, Jay was my service rep.
Maybe the next time I am down in your neck of the woods, I'll pm you and we can get together. My wife is Russian, and there is a Russian grocery store on Farmington Ave in West Hartford that we frequent.
Are you going to either Lime Rock 6/11-12, or NH 6/19 events? Maybe we'll meet at one of these.
Enjoy the sun while it lasts.
Jesse

James,
I forgot to mention that I met Clem (new owner of a '91 red NSX) who lives somewhere near Avon. Maybe you have seen his car. Check out my post of Clem's and my car together in Avon. It was titled "a pair of NSXs" in the northeast forum.
