Acura converts to Honda

I am changing my Acura to a Honda....why do you ask? When have you ever seen a ACURA logo on a F1 car? Also, I import from Asia and they dont know what the hell an Acura is. Here it goes...

I have everthing switched over....

Honda Steering wheel
Honda Tailights
Honda Emblems

But the stereo! The stereo says Acura on the cassette cover! Does anyone have any suggestions on how to change this? I could buy a new stereo but thats the "No Brainer" way...maybe someone has a more cost effective idea or experience.

Thanks,
Jason

Several members have posted about the same transformation. Recently a member from Japan posted and he said some in Japan do the exact opposite... they change the Honda badges to Acura.

To each their own.

Check this thread for my complete Honda conversion.

I have changed to all genuine Honda parts from Japan:
Front emblem
Wheelcaps for '97-'01 wheels
Taillights (amber turn signals), center H lens and spoiler brake light
Honda airbag
Honda cassette deck door

As mentioned in the other thread, you can try and locate a tape deck from a '93 Honda Accord SE. That specific model came with a Bose stereo system and the cassette deck door from this deck will easily install into the NSX deck. I found it on eBay for $25.

I don't believe he wants to change the entire head unit, just the flap with 'Acura' on it.

Nick.
Spare me the roll eyes comment like I'm an idiot - what part of "is it even possible to put an aftermarket HU in an NSX" suggests that this has anything to do with the OEM cassette flap that the original poster was interested in?

Ah, I thought you were replying to the original poster. My bad.

Nick.
