You guys have obviously overlooked the super cool set of horns under the hood. Those alone make the car worth that.

Center console

I like the center console in that car. Anyone know where I can get it? Chrome or polished?, then I'll need the parts for the door by the window switches too.
 
That price is a joke. I know that with all of the mods that I have, my car has depreciated astronomically... not the other way around. If you ask me, the more modifications, the more the depreciation. (I'll never sell my car so I can say that...)

Just curious... When you say your car has depreciated astronomically, are you saying (a) that you would never recover very much (if any) of the cost of the mods if you sold it, or (b) that it would probably need to sell at a significantly lower price than it would if it were bone stock?

Frankly, both. I don't think I'll recover a cent of what I put in, and, because my car is highly modified, my audience of buyers is very small.... I would think it's the rare buyer who actually seeks to buy a car already modified, let alone an nsx that is modified. In addition, because of the modifications, it's been repainted a couple of times... I mean I would think most buyers want original paint...

a good example is Bill's car ("mynsx") - after all of the mods on his car, and the relatively low miles, he is selling it for a far lower price than what he put in.

I mean, I suppose this example may not be entirely analagous, but if I'm buying a ferrari, I want the original. I would want tubi exhaust and some other options on the car, but I wouldn't want after market type stuff. (As far as I know, the tubi exhaust is an option on ferraris.)

Gina, I think you are underestimating the value of your car. The mods on your car are very appealing to, what IMO, is a larger audience than you estimate. The paint thing is another issue. If the current color is the same as the original color, I don't think it's much of an issue.
 
I would also agree that Gina's car is likely worth more than a comparable stock NSX. How much is tricky, but I would venture to say $10-15k.

That is less than half of your investment in the mods, IIRC, but I think you will be able to find a buyer who is looking for such a unique NSX and willing to pay a substantial premium, albeit not the cost to reproduce the car.
