Does ext. warranty cover snap ring?

I might have a chance to get a 1992 NSX for a really good price, but chances are that it is in snap ring range. If I bought an extended warranty on the car, would that be covered?

I bought my extended warranty for this reason alone. The warranty I have does cover the snap ring. However I have already used the cost of the contract in A/C repairs.

Did you shop around for other warranties? Was this the only one that covered the snap ring? How much does it cost?

The one I have is not avaliable anymore. Just ask the company you are dealing with if theres covers the snap ring. If they say yes, get it in writting. I think I paid around 2500.

Anyone else? Surely this question is on the mind of anyone who buys a car in snap ring range.
