Is anyone familiar with this piece? I really like the looks of it, but as I looked closer it appears that you have to cut the middle section out of the stock spoiler for it to work, or is it one big bolt on unit? I know CyberNation carries it, as well as a few other places. I'm just not too sure about ruining my stock spoiler. Any adice would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks Chris: I'm still semi-confused on the installation of this unit. I looked at some close-ups of an nsx with the phase lip and it looks like you have to cut into the stock spoiler. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about. See how it looks like the sides of the stock spoiler are still there and the carbon fiber lip is bolted to it. Thanks

It is a full replacement for the OEM spoiler. The sides are painted to match your cars color.

Thanks for clearing that up. I figured it had to be something like that, since the stock L.E.D. light that crosses the spoiler was missing. By the way, does anyone have the link to that video that shows how to install aftermarket exhausts? I just ordered my Tubi, and I definitely want to try to install it myself. Thanks

Link to a video that shows how to install an exhaust? That's the first I heard of that.

Anyhow, all you have to do is unbolt the old bolts, remove the rubber hangers, remove the old exhaust, then rebolt and re-install the rubber hangers along with the new exhaust and you're finished. It's that's simple.

Good Luck and be sure to take some pictures of the Tubi on your car when you've got it installed.

Be sure and by a good penetrating spray or oil and allow the nuts to soak for a while, even overnight before loosening them. You will need to get new crush washers, but you can use the same locking nuts again unless they get beat up too much when removing them. It was easier for me on my 1995 to remove the flex pipe adapter on one joint, and then remove that from the exhaust on the floor of my garage. Unless you have stuck bolts, should not take more than a couple of hours. Private me if you have any questions.

Thanks for all the advice! I could of sworn I saw a link to an instructional video of removing/insatalling the exhaust in an old forum. Maybe I'm starting too imagine things. Lol. Anyways, the Tubi should be arriving sometime between the next two weeks, so I'll be sure to have my digital camera in hand to take pictures after the installation. I may even record some sound clips/video files of it from interior, outside, drive by, etc. Would anyone want anything like that? Thanks!
