Does anyone have comptech (or similar) test pipes that replace your catalytic Converter? If so, what kind of performance changes (if any) could I expect on my '99 coupe that already has comptech headers, intake and exhaust? I would really like a louder exhaust note...will the test pipes make a BIG difference?

Thanks!!!

I dont have db data, and only use the test pipes at the track. My 96 with DC headers and exhaust is a whole notch or level louder but mostly after vtec. Also you'll experience some real racing smells! There is no apreciable power increase. You might even loose a little in the low range. So you get noise and stink!

I just installed two Comptech test pipes. I had an RM Exhaust on there already. I can tell a slight difference in performance from 0-60 and also a slight difference in how loud the car is. I would definitely say that its not a drastic difference, however.

Hey NSXnBRLA, I live in Gonzales and just bought a 92 Red/black. Just wanted to see if you wanted to hook up sometime. I love to see your car. Do you get service at Acura of baton Rouge?
