I found a great deal on Sparcos and I wonder what color do you guys think I should I get? I have a black NSX with ivory intertior. I really would like red but with ivory interior I'm not sure if it would be to many colors. I've been leaning towards black but RED is cool.

black with red inserts -- makes it a real Batmobile

It's got to be black.

The only way the red ones would work would be if you had a black interior or changed the ivory interior panels to red as well.

I ordered black and they get shipped tomorrow. I can't wait!!!

Is anyone else interested in getting some? My guy can get them for 1200 with brackets and sliders shipped to your door. Any color and brand new too.

purevil, I want sparcos also, but heard that that part of the security system is contained in the bottom of the passenger seat.does can anyone confirm this and if so what ,where would you remount it?I heard it takes time to get into it as it is set up.
best regards david

I never heard that you have to relocate anything when installing Sparcos. There have been a few guys that have them in their cars and they never mentioned anything about it, so we'll see. Maybe its something with factory keyless or 97+ models.

Heavier than stock? I don't think so, there isn't much to them and they aren't powered. But I'm actually buying them to prevent wear and tear on my stock seats. I don't have any wear cracks on mine and I don't want any cuz Ivory leather isn't easy to get in my area (ND). Plus Sparcos just look cool.

When we take out my stocks and put in the Sparcos we'll weigh them to see the difference.

The Torinos are heavy, but not as heavy as the stock seats. Besides offering the ability to mount harnesses, I don't think the Torinos really offer much better support than the stock seats. Don't forget a way to mount them into your NSX:

I got the seats friday and I haven't weighed them yet but they feel about 40 lbs each. I read a while ago that the stock seats are about 60 lbs each so 20 lbs is better than nothing. Also they feel about the same size as the stocks and offer the same support as the stocks. Which is what I wanted, I didn't care about more support, less weight, all I cared about was saving my stock seats from wear and tear. My stock seats are in just about perfect and i want to keep them that way. Saving some weight was a bonus.

The security system is below the dash, pass side. No worries about components under the seats.

Cheers,
