NSX Television

This past weekend I caught two shows featuring the NSX. I believe Motor Trend TV had a segment on the New NSX on it...althoguth I caught the end credits...and Speed Channel's Test Drive show had a Feature on the NSX, RSX, and CL type S...AND had Pete Cunningham taking the cars on Laguna Seca.

Did anyone else catch these or tape them? Can you buy the tapes?

The Acura show was good as I saw most of it...but didn't tape it. I only saw parts since I thought I would catch it again before the weekend was up.

These shows will be repeated. Additional broadcast times were previously posted here and here. Alternatively, you can check broadcast times on the Speed Channel website; click on "Programs" and "Program Schedule", then do a "Search by Program" (Use Calendar Date = No) to search for "Acura Test Drive" or "Motor Trend".

I caught the review. It was a positive one at that. The reviewer was definitely giving the new NSX praise. Sorry, but I don't have a taped copy. :-(

The rest of the show was very cool, too. They took footage of that Lingenfelter TT Corvette vs. the Blue Angel jet plane. The story was also in the magazine, but seeing it live was sweet! The car tester blacked out around 4.5 Gs, I think.

I saw the Acura Test Drive today and it was pretty cool. Lots of good stuff to say about the NSX, however, they didnt really push it very hard. I was hoping for a better display of its performance.

My Speed Channel is working again, so i will be looking forward to watching Motor Trend TV's NSX review.

My Speed Channel is working again, so i will be looking forward to watching Motor Trend TV's NSX review.

According to my TiVo channel guide, "Acura Test Drive" will next re-air on Speed Channel on 5/19/02 from 10 to 10:30 pm EST.

The review of the 2002 NSX was very positive. Once again the overall amazing balance of the car results in raves, despite the absence of a pig V-10 marine engine/etc. under the hood.

Have to admit though, that street-Corvette with a 0-60 time under two seconds (!!!) was impressive, despite it's $165K price tag.
