Is 60,000 miles alot for a 91?

Depends on the condition. If it's in excellent condition, with a complete history, and fully maintained, and clean title, and a five-speed, and preferably not in snap ring range, then it's a good deal.

Also, make sure the 60K service was done. That will run you over $1000.

Its looks almost new. clean title new tires 60,000 mile service, non snap ring range.
I dont think the timing belt has been changed
New clutch 20,000 miles ago. Should a 60,000mile car drive almost as good as a new as far as being tight feeling? Thanks Dan

I bought a '91 that had the proper service done and was not in the snap ring range and paid about that much for it. By the way my '91 had 105,000 miles on it. It drives better than any new car I ever had. Best money I ever spent!

I've seen the car before...I only took a quick look but remember the front bumper had many chips..he said he was going to re-paint it before he sold it. Also remember some other paint chips. The leather on the seats wasn't in to good of shape...the car was just dirty all the way around pretty much. It was on autotrader about 3 weeks ago for around 32k. Now a dealer in desplains bought it..i assume they got it for around 25 as they had a buy it now price of 31.2 on ebay.

Thanks for the information. When you say dirty all the way around, do you mean the
interior or exterior or overall condition? thanks Dan

I meant interior and exterior...I can't say a thing about the mechanical condition as I didn't even hear it run. It was not washed so i couldnt really tell paint condition.. it was dirty and the interior needed a vacuum and washing. I remember thinking this guy is a slob and doesn't deserve it. :] I can't say if it was abused or anything like that, doubt it was...he did say he barely drove it. The guy had a job interview at my place of employment... I also thought if i was in the market i would give him 28-29k for it....did he really have the front repainted?
