I Found what appears to be the bar code
label for my tranny...from the "Locating
the Transmission Number" from this forum..

I am trying to determine if my tranny is in the Snap Ring Range...

From the info givin the Range is
J4A4-1003542-J4A4-1005978
at any rate my tag reads.....

BJ4 32107- SLC- J403
91M W100
*BJ4480381*

is this in the range ??
This car is a Canadian Car 91Red/Blk

You have the wrong number. The tranny number should start with "J4A4". The number should be directly on top of the tranny. Use a flashlight and try to find the number. The tag also has a bar code under the number. Here is more info on finding the tranny number:
