"...slow windows arent the fixit thingies, your windows need lubracating..."
This is correct.
BUT...
Gummed-up lubricant puts more force on the tabs that hold the cable block, and then they can and will break.
The original design was marginal and over time, dirt, crud and gummy lube causes the window to move more tightly in the track. The motor works harder to move the window and pulls harder on the cable.....CRACK!
As a recap, here's what to do.
1) DON'T OPERATE THE WINDOW.
2) Disassemble and clean out the tracks, joints etc. Relubricate.
3) Replace the old white plastic block with the Dali "Thingies".
