2002 Rear Tail Emblem

I went to the dealer today and priced the rear tail light section of the 2002 with the Acura 'A' logo on it.

They wanted $180 for it! Crazy.

Do you know where I can get it for less?

I just bought the 2002 center tail light section today from Niello for $142 (after NSXCA club discount). They had it in stock. I also bought the two rear L and R side lenses too. Total was $706 out the door. Chad, the parts counter guy at Niello, is a great guy. I don't have my NSXCA card yet (nsxtasy, when will it get mailed??), and he has given me the club discounts regardless.

Anyway, I like the look of the raised chrome Acura emblem, although it will require a few seconds more to clean it properly during wash days.

Oh, btw, I sealed all the open edges with clear sealant before I mounted the center section. This is to minimize the potential for water vapor getting in to the lens. I'll do the same to the L and R side lenses when they come on Tuesday.

We (Larry Bastanza, who deserves the credit) mail out packets to new members on a monthly basis. That's why, when we send you an e-mail right away with your member number, it says four to six weeks. It can actually be as little as two weeks; the variation depends on whether we receive your membership right before, or right after, Larry sends that month's packets out.

As you found out, you're eligible for discounts with our participating dealers and vendors as soon as we receive your membership. We send a list of member names and member numbers to our dealers and vendors on a monthly basis. (Yours was included on the most recent list.) They also know that they can contact me (as club treasurer) to verify the membership status of any new member who is not on that list.

let me get this right .. letter A for acura on the back of my nsx cost 200 buck.s??? holy cow ..i just ripped it of a few days ago ..i have it some where in my garage.. ..lol..that is funny.. anyone want mine then ill sell it for 100 bucks lol
