Alright guys,

here is my story. I have been looking for an NSX for a little bit over a year now. I finally bought a 1991 blk/blk from Virginia (private owner) in late June and now it's all mine. The problem is the car is still in the process of being shipped. It seems like an eternity since the auto transport company is running a "little" late. It is 3 weeks (seems like an eternity) late now and I am giving them another day or two (just to pick up the car), until I go with Dependable Auto Shippers (who I should've went with in the first place). In any case, just wanted to gripe a little while I wait to be a new NSX owner.

Hey, at least I got the pink slip...haha, now i just have to wait for other 99.9% of the equation!!! I just want to be able to drive it for the remainder of the beautiful California summer. I'll make sure I keep everyone posted. Thanks again for everyone's help and the TONS of information available from this forum.

Waiting patiently like a Buhddast Monk,
Khue

Congrats!!! Welcome to the NSX Hood. cheers

mileage is 120K. It has meticulous records, so I hope the car is as good as it sounds. don't know for sure if i will modify it, since this car set me back a pretty penny. who knows...that might all change once i get it and start driving it. happy motoring.

You could always fly out and drive it back. Fly out on a Friday morning/early afternoon and take 2 days driving. Whenever I get mine, I plan on flying out and driving it back. But I'm in MI so it's not like I'd be driving as far as you nomatter where I got mine.

I was thinking about that, but I know for a fact that it needs to get the timing belt and water pump done. So I would not dare risk it, in addition, don't want to get several speeding tickets which would cost me a lot more $$ in the long run.

One of my fondest memories (so far) of my NSX is the great road trip home from Seattle to Dallas I took when I bought it. I drove through Washington and Oregon State Parks, took the long way through the Colorado mountains, and generally had a blast.

I'd do it again in an instant!

And it has 120K miles on it???

It's risky to let it go when you're under the recommended mileage interval (90K) but over the time interval (6 years). It's downright stupid to do so when you're over the mileage interval.
