I bought supercharger last week, now $1k less!!!!

Ask them for a refund?

Of course this is the risk associated with buying anything from computers to canned peaches.

I tend to be somewhat ambivalent about these things. One way to think about it, so as not to beat yourself up, is to think that when you bought the unit a week ago, you were happy with the value proposition. If you were happy a week ago then be happy now. Don't let this bother you.

My 2 cents.

Return it and repurchase. Have you called them yet? If not, I would think they would refund you 1000.00. You are about to find out how much they value you as a customer. Good luck.

I wonder why the price is dropping???? Guess they had a pretty cushy margin. All future CTSC owners should all thank Mark Basch for the savings.

I e-mailed you several weeks ago offering the new price ahead of the "official" release. Did you not receive it?

Cheers,

Most of the pro audio places I do business with offer a 45 day price gaurentee, where if you find a legit better price elsewhere, they'll refund you the difference. It's worth asking for. Just tell them you'll return it and go somewhere else if they give you a hard time.

Doc-
I'm still laughing from your comment.

Jimbo-
I am not familiar with their return policy. My comments were based on logical follow up and the idea that Comptech may be interested in improving their reputation.

Regarding a few deleted messages: If you have a specific issue, compliment or complaint about a vendor, post it in the Vendor forum.

This is NOT in reference to the question seeking advice on what to do re: buying a SC right before the price drop. It is in reference only to those people's messages which have been deleted.
