Are blue HID-style front position bulbs available (SAE 3652)? I've searched around and this bulb apparently is not very common.

Yes. I installed my SoS HID kit (excellent BTW) and now the front parking lights look downright yellow by comparison. Hoping to get a closer color match.

Polarg is a good brand. I have some on my car.

I'll take some pics at night to show you.

I'm the opposite. I have factory headlights with the Polarg bulbs. My headlights look too yellow. =)

I picked up a pair of PIAA Platinum Super White wedge bulbs. They look good, much whiter than the original bulbs and complement the HIDs nicely.

BTW the PIAAs are bulb #194 a.k.a. "wedge" bulbs. With respect to fit, there is no difference between 194 bulbs and the OEM 3652 bulb - the 194 is a perfect fit.

there are new lights out there that replace regular filament style bulbs with ones that are made with led lights. they are a direct replacement and come in different sizes for different applications like brakes, turn signals, parking lights, interior, etc.
last i saw, they came in blue, yellow, red, and true white, not so called "HID blue" or "hyper white". i saw them at an auto accessories store at a mall in ventura.
John(Anytime) if don't mind and have the time, can you check up on these lights and what their prices are ,at Mobile Solution (805) 676-1068 . they are located at Pacific View mall on the second floor. just trying to help .
