Anyone running a VTEC Controller and what do you have the vtec set at?

Would it help a car with a comptech supercharger?

stu's right.even if you are running a standalone fms, ems, replacement ecu of brand x they come most of the good ones with vtek controllers that allow you to disable the rev limiter and alter v-tek kick in range.THE TWO parameters you dont want to change IMO.if you lower v-tek kick in it buys you nothing.waste of money just to alter v-tek.or disable rev limit.BUT all the other stuff the after market controllers do is amazing and worth every blood soaked penny.I for one will shit can my factory ecu at the right time.after i have have fully mastered the ems of my choice aem.when I have it down pat and have taken a training seminar on using and configuring it on the several cars ive targeted, out with all the ecu's.bonus the nsx aem unit can be had for 1200$ yes I know all about the conflicting release date and price range from cheap to bend over.some people got a test unit beta.and software.anyway when I feel comfortable with the aem for the nsx and the unit is available finished rev.I will sell my ecu to offset cost. sounds like a plan

ps the control I am second most waiting to finish is my wide band 02 sensor.the roll your own aussie kit is straight forward and the sensors are in the 500$ range putting that in for around 900$ now theres a useful tool.not a meter that informs you your toast after the fact.if you are a decent solderer its a piece of cake.reminds me of the old heath kit days

I hope you aren't referring to the Australian self built wideband... http://techedge.com.au/vehicle/wbo2/default.htm

These are $10 for the board and $23 for the parts...you can get the wideband o2 for $117 online. So I really hope you are reffering to a different aussie wideband (I dont know of any other)..since this one you can build for under $200 US! I don't know where you got those numbers (500 for the sensor?!), but that's way way to much to pay.

True, thanks for the fyi on pricing.that was the kit.BUT not the seller nor same website
I have been wading thru site after site looking for the right wideband solution.
thanks for saving me over 300 bucks.if you know another good w/b 02 let me know
best regards david
I have been in contact with a company here in the states to manufactor one and still waiting on info.i need it as part of a larger project
