andrie,
are the black rims in your avatar the 91-93 stock rims? they look nice. do you have any pictures of them not in motion? i'm thinking of powder coating mine instead of buying custom ones. thanks

You had to ask didn't you ...........

Nothing on Andrie's car is stock, or should I say not tinkered ........... I had to look closely also at those wheels ........... I let him answer it

The one in my avatar was a stock 91-93 wheels. They look better because I was running 25mm spacers all the way around. I don't have picture of them not in motion, and I don't have them anymore, so I can't take pics for you. However, if you look closely, the wheels are actually black with red lips. Although the red lips might be covered in brake dust.

Currently, in order to clear the big porsche brakes, I move the rear wheels to the front, use 13.5mm spacers. I also got a hold of Supra Turbo rear wheels and adapt it to the car. They look very similar, that not a lot people notice that the wheels are different front and back

Andrie,
How did you address the 64 to 70 MM hub
diameter difference?

Thanks,
John

John,
I had to bore the center of the rear wheels to 70.1mm to fit the front. I had to do this on the supra wheels to fit the rear too.

Jeffry,
yes, I'm Indonesian. You too? We have quite a few here in the forum. 6 including you as far as I know.

"Ma'af ya, saya tidak mau ngomong bahasa indonesia..."

Sorry if this is getting off topic. Anyways Andrie,

Like Michigan NSX said, what is the deal with that horrible number?

Beautiful car, beautiful helmet, HORRIBLE number on the car. C'mon man, I know you can do better than that!

That is a temporary number made from masking tape/racer tape. This way, I can take them off without damaging the paint.

I know it's ugly. But it must do as I don't want to run around with a permanent number

I'm going to have to agree with Michigan NSX: time for some nice magnetic numbers.

Was this done on a lathe, mill, or a horizontal boring machine? Also, was the chamfer 30 or 45 degrees? I'm very curious,
I want to do something similar.
