I installed a Dali clutch and light flywheel. I am getting a slight shutter and without yanking the whole thing apart, can I reinitalize the clutch. Thanks

Yes you can.

You have to remove the protector plate so you can reach the flywheel and you have to remove your right rear wheel to get access to the crankshaft.

It is a easy job.

Have luck,
Gerard

tunapie,

As Gerard mentioned you can. I have to tell you I have a low confidence level that this is your problem. Did you use the Honda Urea grease on the clutch splines? If you used an alternative grease type, this could be your problem.

It is very important to use this grease and the correct amount.

Please see this thread: http://www.nsxprime.com/ubb/Forum10/HTML/000476.html for a further description about the grease and initalization.

I was coached by Mark Basch on throwout bearing prep. The shutter is so slight but I try for perfection. After pulling off the tranny cover plate I did not see enough room to re-adjust. Thanks, Dan
