2 Questions...Window....Noise...

I've noticed 2 things wrong with my NSX. One is the passenger side window not going down sometimes. It does not work at all, and you have to click the button 5-7 times to get it to work. This happens on both drivers and passenger side switch. Is this a bad switch?? How much is this switch?

2nd Problem, there is a strange noise coming from the passenger side front wheel (that area). It makes a kind of scraping noise from 5-15mph. Sounds almost like its a thin piece of metal scraping the wheel. But i can't find any proof of this. I think it could be the splash gaurd. Is this possible? This is the ONLY thing i could think of.
Any suggestions on these 2 problems?? Thanks.

The window problem sounds like a bad switch, but your motor/regulator could also be going. Best bet is to get a meter and check out the function of the switch (could be a bad ground or loose connection). You will have to remove the door panel to check it.

The scraping noise could be brake related..Sticking caliper maybe?

If it was a sticking brake caliper, wouldn't it always make that noise though, not just from 5-15 mph?

I don't notice any braking problems from this speed, everything else is normal.

???

Bob is almost certainly correct.

The FAQ section here describes how to check how worn your brake pads are. All you need is a flashlight; if you're looking in the right place, it's easy to tell just by looking. It only works on a '91-96 NSX, though.

Don't know if it's the same noise but I have a clicking noise coming from both front wheels when I brake at very low speed...no noise if I try to brake with the handbrake and no noise if I try to brake in reverse mode !

I checked my pads and they still have enough material (as thick than the backing plate) !

Anyone with an idea ?

Some brake pads - particularly aftermarket pads - are ever so slightly off in size from stock, and I suspect this is the case with yours, Enzo. They can shift around in the caliper, causing the clicking noise. You won't hear it except at slow speed. It doesn't cause any harm. You might be able to reduce the clicking by installing the thin shims that come on the stock pads.
