Ok, the original question was somewhat obvious as I stuck my finger into the plug hole that it must be leaking from the valve cover. Here is the somewhat scary thing. When I pulled the coil plug I did not realize the extent of the leak and proceded to pull the plug. The oil ran into the cylinder and I am somewhat concerned that a small piece of the rubber seal went with it. I felt a very small piece of the rubber seal(about 1/2 finger nail size) in the plug hole. I cannot seem to find it now. If it fell in the combustion chamber what are my choices. I turn the engine over without the plug in and force all of the oil and hopefully anything else that went in with it out? After that, if it was still in the chamber and you ran the car I would think it would force it out of the exhaust valve where it would melt. Is there a chance that it would stick the valve open. I have not started the car. Am I making this into something bigger than I should?? What step would you take next. The car is under warranty and I am taking it to the shop to have the seal replaced.
