Does anyone have some pics of Mikes engine bay. The link I had to the NSXCA does not work anymore. I'm interested in seeing the chromed airbox and the polished CTSC. If it looks really good I will be asking Comptech to have a unit polished for me when I make my purchase.

Thanks.

The NSXCA is in the process of migrating to a different server. The national club website is up but some of the regional and chapter websites which were co-located will be brought up after the national site's migration is complete.

The Northwest website should be back up soon.

Here's some pics of the airbox and blower:

I like the last picture of his SC.
It looks like there's a little man holding a camera in the reflection on the top of the SC. Looks like he's doing one of those co-ordination tests where you rub your stomach and pat your head at the same time.

Well, that's me taking a picture of the engine bay. Never noticed the reflection but it being a polished engine, I should know!

Nearly everything in this engine bay is polished other than the airbox, strut bar and the cover to the right of the strut bar.

Thanks Vytas.

I contacted Comptech they may be willing to have SC polished before they send it to me.

Those are replacements for the vacuum hoses. You'll notice that the website says that they "will not collapse under extreme vacuum conditions". That would be irrelevant for the type that fit around existing hoses.

I like it, nice job.

It's loaded with the CT blower with 9psi boost kit, short gears, 4.55 R&P, headers, exhaust, Dali clutch, Tilton flywheel and Brembo brakes. Was dynoed at Comptech with 360HP at the wheels.

I've driven this car quite a bit and I can say that's it's REAL fast off the line. Leave's my stock NSX in the dust.

If anybody has any questions on what Mike did, how he did it and how much it cost, email him at [email protected] and he'll be happy to help you out.
