can any one help me find boxes

I had the same issue shipping some large parts - custom boxes are really expensive!
I used a local store called box-world - not sure if they are national.
What I have done is use 2 boxes that at least fit in two of the dimensions and then slip-fit one over the other to gain the additional 3rd dimension.
e.g. use 2 of 18 x 24 x 36 to get one 18 x 24 x 72" box (cut one set of the end flaps off one box completely & use the "open" end flaps of the other to overlap onto the other box - tape it securely with reinforced tape)
A bigger problem is shipping large items - FedEx & UPS Ground have limitations on the size & a bumper is pretty much outside it. At FedEx the girl at the counter cut me some slack with a wink & a smile! Incidentally FedEx ground is much cheaper than UPS ground I have found!

Forget the box! Save some money.

I recently received an OEM pre-02 rear valence and it came in bubble wrapped and taped galore! No box. Shipped via UPS.

If you do this, inspect to see if everything is covered by the wrap. It came to me undamaged.

Apparently UPS accepts this form of shipment so there you go!

Charlie,

Maybe you tried this already, but have you hit up the local appliance stores? Seems like a refrig box could be useful

Here at work we have boxes that are 72 x 12 x 12. They should work for the side skirts.
Discount Packaging here in AZ, but I think they have stores all over the U.S.

thanks guys.. do u think bubble wrap will work for the fenders?.. cuz i called csw frieght and they said if its not packed right then they wont ship it ,, i also called wings west to ask if i could buy boxes .. they thought i was crazy ..hahha i wish they new how hard this stuff is ..

and the other problem is that they are getting shipped to me by my cousin in seattle so i would have to get boxes shipped to him 1st then have everything shipped here to me in houston..
and on top of that the guy at the body shop has been waiting for these parts for like a month and i think hes getting a little impatient..

I don't see what the big deal is. Have your cousin go to a body shop and get some big boxes that they received parts in.
