I went up to NE Dragway this past Friday (7/12) for the first time in quite a while. WOW! What an adreniline rush! For a moment I was 18 again (In a way, I wish I was. Forgot how HP attracts the chicas) ANYWAY.......

I'm planning on bringing my NSX up there ONCE in the near future to see what the car (and its driver) can do. I was thinking of either a Friday night or Saturday morning before it gets too hot. Is anybody going to be around that would be interested in going? I could use the moral support. I hope to get to Lime Rock or Louden this season if possible but couldn't resist my teenage 1/4 mile "addiction" just this once.

An official at NE Dragway told me there is a guy w/a '97 NSX that has a 100 shot of NOS who has run low 12's. Are you on this board?

Hope to hear from you.

Sorry for the confusion but last Friday I was just a spectator. My friend raced his car. I wanted to get an update on how to sign up, etc.

I do have a CTSC w/9psi and related intake exhaust headers, etc. Also a NOS 50 shot.

400RWHP calculates 11.3-11.5 but that's on paper!

Same mechanic that changes the oil in my minivan! Seriously, the place is Geyer's Garage in Braintree, MA. They have been working on Acuras and Hondas for years. Have to admit, he was a little nervous about taking on the job but with the help of Shad at Comptech, it went VERY smooth. Had one glitch, there was a loose wire going to the ECU. But that was quickly fixed and it's been great ever since! They did the CTSC w. the high boost upgrade, PowerGrip II clutch, CT headers, CT exhaust, CT air box.

I decided on the NOS 50 shot when I had the car dynoed. (Wanted 400 HP at the wheels)

It's a wet setup. Polished 10 lb bottle w/ remote. ONLY comes on at full throttle when I flip the switch. Had the NOS done at ACS Racing in Hanover. www.acsracing.com

Never dynoed the car stock or with the 6 psi. I did dyno w/9psi and 9psi w/ nitrous.

I have all the data (plus the video clip!) Now I have to figure out how to post it. I'm gonna put it on the main discussion board.

Stay tuned

Here's the URL w/the dyno Results.

Just setup our server to host the pix (executive privilege)

No work on the sound system YET. Focused on performance mods. I'm planning on a Pioneer or equiv that also has the popout screen for GPS and DVD's.

Hmmmm.... maybe while I'm at it, I'll put a PSII in it. Then I can drive the NSX in Gran Turismo 3 while I'm driving in my NSX. That should be good for about 400 MPH.

Now THAT is a performance mod!

Hope to have pix up shortly

I'm willing to sell my prestine condition black 91 NSX coupe 29k miles with CTSC, CT headers, CT exhaust, 13" Brembo brakes with brake bias adj. kit, 6sp with 4.55R&P, CT non-compliance rear beam, CT toe-links, TEIN Type RE coilover suspension, custom Dali front scooped hood, 17/18" Tecnomagnesio wheels, xenon headlights, among many other mods. I spent a total of $40k+ on upgrades alone. All mods were professionally installed by Mark Basch himself.

It'll save you money just to buy my car if you're planning to do everything to yours. I'm planning to buy a 2002...

Oh yeah, I'm located in Boston as well.

I have heard a LOT about the Basch Supercharger. I do believe it WILL be the way to go in about 18-24 months. As with anything new, I think the kinks still have to be worked out.

I went with the CTSC because it seemed more stable although it does befy logic that I would go with the newer 9psi vs the tried and true 6. But I knew it would knaw at me
knowing it "could" have more power. The 50 shot of NOS is the lowest I could get away with and will be used VERY RARELY.

Trying to explain this to my wife was a challenge. I told her "I have a black belt but that doesn't mean I go around kicking the s--- out of people..." The power is there so I do NOT have to use it!

(She didn't buy it BTW....)

Wednesday's and Friday's are street night where you get everything from 10 Second Muscle to Mom and Dad's Volvo.

At the moment, I'm planning to go up Friday night August 2nd to "race race" but wanted to go up next Saturday to practice launches and tweak so I don't make a complete ass on myself on the 2nd. (It's been a while). Saturday am's is usually "test and tune"

When I was up there last week, this is what the official suggested. He also said if I know anyone who knows NSX's bring 'em.

90% chance I'll be there Sat 7/27 early a.m
Will keep you posted.

Well, contacted NE Dragway and THIS Saturday 7/27 is just point series racers but Sunday 7/28 is open. Anyone around Sunday morning?

"I LOVE THE SMELL OF BURNING RUBBER IN THE MORNING! SMELLS LIKE.......VICTORY!"
(besides I hear that and adrenaline are a great cure for a hangover)

Le'me Know......
