Anybody out there have any experience with, or information about, replacing the factory installed CD changer? My Dealer wants to hit me up for $700...I'm looking for a more reasonable price, if at all possible. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I live in Northeast PA...so shops in New York and New Jersey are not out of the question.

Wow Tobyhanna!
I go lost there on tour with a rock band!

Look in the FAQ. There is a instruction in the DYI section on a Alpine cd/mp3 unit that works with the stock head.
If you go to a Circuit City and tell them what you have and, what you want they should set you up.
That's what I did and the Alpine unit was about $225.00.

The Alpine CHA-S634 it is. My car is in the shop for the winter; getting it touched up and detailed for springtime....but I'll purhase the unit this week. It's a good day when you find a way to get more for le$$. Please accept my Sincere THANKS ;0)
