Custom tail lights

I saw this this NSX for sale with custom tail light (covers) on eBay, sort of a Testarossa look:

They must of made some 'cut-outs' to make the lights look round.

It looks like a repaint to me. I'm not sure if it's the same NSX, but I saw a SILVER one with the same tail lamp set-up at NSXPO '99. If I remember correctly it was also from Canada and I believe it got in a wreck during one of the track days at Laguna Secca.

Steve Winter from Victoria, BC had the silver car at NSXPO '99 with the same custom tail lights.

I have no idea if this is the same car. The wheels and exhaust are different than what was on Steve's car at NSXPO '99 but obviously that doesn't mean it's a different car.

I've been considering doing a similar treatment to the front headlights by painting the surrounding chromed plastic with some black heat resistant spray. I've seen a few cars with this done.

Those black and silver NSXs are not same one.
I know where you can get those tail lights.
You need to go to custom shop called SHC located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
I know exactly where they are and I live close to them.

I have a full set of LED lights i will be selling soon. Just havnt gotten around to putting them on the market.

Only 6 sets made. I tested them and they all work. Just cant bring myself to install in my car.

^Those are the ones that sell on Ebay^ I think if you spray tinted them so you couldn't see the LEDs threw the Lens they would look better.
