NOPI Nationals 2002 NSX pictures finally online

That is Charles Hudson car. Funny you should say that, I thought the same thing when Momo Racers came out a few years ago. They are very similiar to the staggered size 'stock' wheels introducted in 1996 on the 3.2l E36 M3's. I had those on my old 97 M3 and they were a PITA to get clean as the spoke got very narrow. The Momo's are more open and convex.

I wrote them a note and asked why we weren't there. They haven't replied -what buttheads, we come all the was from Arizona , get second place, and not one picture on there site of the car. I don't thik Bill knows they haven't posted the pic, but rest assure we were there.

I also wondered why they didn't post pics of all cars.
As for the email thing, don't waste your time. I sent them a LONG detailed one upon my arrival back home questioning a few things and haven't heard anything in return. I don't expect to either. I did learn one thing. It is a lot more fun to go and spectate than to compete. I don't think I will ever do that show again. Very disappointed in the way it was judged and handled overall.

Just my $.02

BTW, mine is the red one with the dragon graphics on side. Feel free to post comments on the car. Positive or negative.

Am curious in seeing what car could one-up MYNSX's yellow beast, although JZ's yellow JGTC-replica would give it a hard run.

The judging was weird, no catagaries,no point system,no rule book.Thats called opinion or a matter of taste.
No disrespect at all to Romeo "who I've spoken with" (he seeems like a great guy)
As I said before that one didn't matter to me requardless of fair not fair.I was there for exposure and sponsorship support.
I agree the JZ car creation by Peter Chow is a serious compeditor. If the quality is high on the scale of 1-10 (fit finish paint etc.)I believe it's awesome.Ive spoken in asome detail of the body and decided to order the same body for the REDNSX I will of course alter some things to not infringe on JZ's artwork.
I've already negotiated the paint work with the prep and painter out of California.
This car will be wild electric green and black.
The "THE GREEN MONSTER"(major wieght reduction "slim fast" ) 500-600 hp and a lot of the interior "and" exterior will be carbon fiber has been molded and on it's way.

Hmm, hard to tell from this angle. Looks just like someone splattered grease all over the side of the car. Do you have a better pic?

There was one thing that is really nice about
Romeos car.Theres a lot of carbon fiber parts interior(cabin).
The Lexan hatch and ducting in carbon was done nicely. WWW.MYNSX.COM

PHOENSX,

Where are you talking about with the grease? I would be happy to take some additional pics and PM them to you.

As for Romeo's car. I hung out with him and Charles(red next to mine) and found both guys to be outstanding. Always willing to lend a hand and help in any way possible. Granted MYNSX has a lot of custom stuff done to his car, Romeo's was more subtle. I am probably a little biased as I got up close and personal with Rome's and wasn't able to with MYNSX. I do have a question for the MYNSX, why didn't you have the engine compartment opened and maybe a door or something. There was always someone around the car so you didn't have to worry about anything happening to it. Just wondering.

As for the judging...IT SUCKED. Don't expect to be judged fairly. It won't happen.

As for proper showing of the car.
You are correct you should open "ALL" compartments.Although it was entered by my partener I was not interested in "showing",as I was saying before my sole purpase for going thousands of miles was sponsorship support.
If I was showing I would have checked the judging rule book brought a display and done things a lot differently.

All the effort and no reciprication is meaningless to me.
As for the past 2 shows we totalled 5 new trophies and 1200.00 <---(this helps)

Its not "all" about the cash (but a nessesary "tool" to fund the efforts)

I was referring to the dragon, it looks weird from the angle in that photo. Do you have another photo that shows the car at a direct side profile which should show it better?
