If it were in excellent condition, let's say it might be worth around $30,000. Now we'll start deducting for the work that this car needs.

*Cluth need to be replace.

Subtract $2,400.

*Driver window need to be fix.

Subtract $500.

*Both speakers are not working.

Subtract $700. (To fix, it might be as little as half that. But it might be more than that.)

*No service for 60k nor 90k.

Subtract $2200.

*shocks feel weak.

Subtract $1000.

*Passenger quarter panel has been re-painted.
*Paint condition is fair for 92 (about 5door dings and scratches around the car)

Subtract $4000 for a car that is in poor overall condition and that has been poorly maintained, that will be at risk for even more repairs in the future.

Answer: $19,200.

Did it have no service from 60k up? If that's the case, I'd agree with nsxtasy. Actually, I'd be reluctant to buy it.

I dont think those minor body things are a big enough deal to subtract $4k, but 30k miles of no service is really enough to say "sayonara"...

Obviously, that $4000 deduction is the one item that is most debatable because it's the only one that doesn't represent a specific repair that is needed to this car. Deduct whatever you think is appropriate for the poor condition and lack of maintenance.

If you want another indication of how poorly this car has been maintained, ask how often the oil has been changed. And don't be surprised at the answer.

A poorly maintained car is rarely the bargain it may first appear to be.

Thanks for all your help guys and NSXotic, you must follow your book to came up with that kinda number but let me ask you this.
Can I trade it in for $23K and get a diff one from your dealership

Happy VTECing.......

Sounds like a car that's not been taken care of are you sure you want to take a gamble at buying it.

It seems to me that there are enough (less questionable) NSX's why go on a date w/ this one w/ the miscellanious problems and possible lack of maintainance which could unravel more problems and sounds like there could be other problems coming and or hiding...Just the way I see it.
