Michigan check-in & spotting by blodi pt.2

News photos look grim. I stayed away from Cloverleaf; storm was headed that way.

UPDATE 1130 PM 3-15-2012: No reported injuries.
Multiple touch-downs in Washtenaw and Monroe counties, plus N end of Oakland / Lapeer counties.

The BIG weather eluded us (other than torrential rain) so that was good.
I got the Seibon CF rear wing mounted and snapped some admittedly poor pictures before it really started to hit.

Hope Tim, Liz & the boys are OK!

Brian

We had a little drive up north this week, and stopped in to see LoveFab's new shop in Traverse City, MI. Cody was still busy setting up his new location, plus he acquired a nice new device for his garage!

Inside. Never-mind that yellow extension cord  Have an eye for the left side of pic where there is a bay/dock:

Dyno install:

Cody recently posted a photo on Prime "daring to guess" what these items were:

Teaser pic of PikesPeak NSX's butt-end:

And rest assured he set up shop in a scenic locale. Here, across the street, is the Apache Trout Grill on W Gr Traverse Bay:

Thanks for taking some time for us!

Nice pics Neal! Nice new facility Cody! I didn't know you were going to have a dyno on site! Waiting for my last part, then we'll figure out how to get my car up there for some "love" as well in the next few weeks.

Very nice!

BTW, NSX sighting. Anyone here own a silver 2nd gen? Spotted at Rocky's of Northville this afternoon.

Awesome trip! I love that Lovefab truck with the big spikes on the wheels! :)

And speaking of Lovefab, crank your speakers and HOLD ON TIGHT...

^^^ Fun video Chris, I'm glad you finally got some time at the reins of the beast

Hey, speaking of beasts......Godzilla darkened our driveway last night.

That was our first ride in a GT-R, and I must say it's an impressive package.
We even hit Neal's favorite local test road, and got a couple electronic nannies to kick in!
Still, I prefer the raw analog experience thankyouverymuch

To crowd at C.J.'s last night: see attached documentation. No further comment. :)

I was leaving my office on Saturday 3/30 and saw a silver NA1 headed north on Northwestern Hwy around 12 Mile Road -- haven't seen this car before. Anyone know who this is?

Best,
Jeff

:frown: Looks like Michigan is losing an NSX -

Anyone know who is selling?

Hey Poet X, sorry about that..... we were staying at a condo in Cadillac, MI, so were only in T.C. for an afternoon. Visited the North Peak, then wandered over to LoveFab's new location, then back down to Cadillac. Got in some early season golf at a couple of really nice golf courses!

Can't say that I've come across a one-owner Black / Black '92 in the area, if I did I would feel even more remorse about losing one!

The Super 7 we were storing for a friend left the garage on Sunday, so I have the NSX's back into position and ready for warm weather use.

....a thing of beauty! Still want to get some seat time in your red car this year to feel those pads and tires.

Scrambling w/ my car...after I got my vvis delete done last week, I put everything together, started the car and checked for any leaks, etc.
I noticed the car was much quieter, then quickly realized the supercharger wasn't spinning. I sheared all 4 teeth of the supercharger coupler (a not so uncommon thing with the BBSC). So I quickly ordered up the high strength versions out of 7075 aluminum from onestepx.
Also, after waiting for months for my big bore tb to come in and Cody being unable to access the one in his race car currently (thanks for trying Cody!), I overnighted mine to Prospeed last night to have it bored.
Crossing my fingers everything gets here in time for me to install and drive the car up to Traverse next weekend!

Had to drop off the supercharger at a shop today, hopefully they can get the old coupler off with some heat. I gave up after an hour last night. Not many people can say they've installed a BBSC twice on their car!

Nice find on the video! I saw Oscar put that up the other day, but never watched it all the way through. Funny enough, I was just talking to Mike in the hallway here.
