Michigan check-in & spotting by blodi pt.2

:biggrin: VERY nice, Bob! Welcome to the Imola Orange club. We gotta get Blodi's orange Z car, yours, and mine together for a shock and awe orange rally!

I had not seen the Evora in orange before - it looks much better than I had even imagined.

always lusted for the Evora.... very sweet!!! I like the Elise but it's a death wish on the lunar surface, er, I mean Michigan roads.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I'm sad to say the Evora will not be at CJ's this week though. Having trouble getting the Insurance company to issue me proof of insurance cards.

Did my part......CJ's in IOP tonight. Sun shining in December ? Yes! It was out this afternoon!

Got out the last three days to get some last driving in before snow / ice takeover. It had already been so long I felt I was
driving a new car!

Nice to visit with you all at CJ's.

LOTUS banner from Brian & Judi to Bob and Lisa = Super garage art! You folks are awesome!

Yes, nice group of folks last night!

Here is what awaited Bob & Lisa when they arrived, I'm sure it'll look better in their garage than it did in ours

Cheers!

Thank you Brian and Judi. The flag looks awesome is my garage next to the Evora . Now the neighbors don't have to constantly ask me what kind of car it is. I will post a photo tomorrow

Oh, that already came up with the two girls......it would only be 11 miles to CJ's (the restaurant), but apparently there has already been some resistance.

Hey, do you guys remember when we used to think Neal's car was Orange?

;-P

All they needed was Ryan's 240Z to complete the triad of Orange-ness!

I picked up a very unique piece of auto memorabilia today at, of all places, Eastern Market. it's so vintage that it says "Licensed by NSU" on the back.

That is most cool.

I actually got to drive one of those weird and wonderful (and small!) NSU's when I first got my driver's license, as a possible first car candidate.

So I'm leaving work yesterday shortly after three. Get on the Southfield freeway heading north. Look over to my right and see a nice looking black car, then suddenly realize it is an early NSX! The car was on the service drive heading for Ford road. Any of you Primers in the Dearborn area yesterday (Friday)? It was a decent day to be out, a little chilly, but at that time there was no precipitation to be concerned with.
Fun wow. :smile::cool:

that's probably Hass!

That would be me :) lol

I was really excited about the sunny 35 degree weather and 5 day weekend. I was on my way to lunch in Dearborn. I might of been having a little more fun than usual off ramp.

I hope to drive mine tomorrow.... enjoy the heat wave!

I have been forecast watching all week, tomorrow is suppose to be sunny all day. I'll have it out for a drive before and after Lions game. Here's a quick pick of my custom cup holder

Waiting for new Oem shift boot to come in, purchased mint condition CC and AC vents. Looks a lot better than the broken CC I had

Just remember COLD tires = Driving on Ice. Just ask Liz about the Noble. Love that Evora. Cars are asleep for the winter except for the NSX which rumor has it LOVES the AEM Infinity. Also, Bastardizing the Cayman this winter - Something evil this way comes.........

This is proof that the Evora is a great little family car. My wife was at work so she could not be in the picture but two kids in the back, seat belts on, doors closed, and ready to go for a Christmas drive in Michigan.

All right Bob, that should suffice as proof for docjohn (and for that matter the rest of us ;^)
