Red face 90% of all women cannot drive a car!

Ahh... nothing like a sexist website to stir up a little discussion (or argument ) ... I'm sure Allan will want read this.

This is a German website claiming that women can't drive cars, and they provide 'proof' to back their claims. (i don't entirely agree with this... there's some truth but it's mostly funny)

Check out the PRESS REPORTS in particular.

    Exclamation

I think in 1998 or 1999, the Dept of Motor Vehicles in CA released stats that women are twice as likely to be involved in an accident then men.

    Before you flame..

The same stats revealed that men were far more likely to be involved in an accident with a fatality.

JaguarXJ6, that is also the reason why some insurance (at least here) give discount to women. More accident, true, but with a lot less $$$ involved...

Expanding on gheba's point... a lot of female friends of mine, when they've had accidents, choose to live with the damage (as long as it's not too serious or prevents the car from driving). Serious; one i know only has half a bumper. LOL

In Australia insurance for males < 25yrs is high; and if they own a 2-door, it jumps even higher. i guess they don't like paying for high-speed deaths. (and i don't blame them)

What? They don't make 2-door minivans and SUVs in Australia?

    Talking

Yup, AznSXgirl, NSXserviceGirl and a small army of female NSX owners will probably be screaming for blood.

fortunately they don't have a wing as large as yours Bill, otherwise their NSX might be able to fly to Australia... then i'd be stuffed.

(BTW, i don't think all women are bad drivers; I'm sure AznSXgirl is a superb driver)
