Hello everybody!

The Southwest Region of the NSXCA is proud to announce an exclusive high
performance driving school being held in conjunction with Driving Concepts,
International. It will be held at the ButtonWillow Raceway Park on April 6
and 7, 2002.

This event is the first of two driving schools organized by the NSXCA-SW
region for the year 2002. This is not a race, but rather, a safe, high
speed driving school, conducted on a race track under close supervision by
the experienced instructors of Driving Concepts, Int'l, led by master
driving instructor Carl McGinn. Carl has been heavily involved with the
BMWCCA Pacific region high performance driving program, as well as a long
history of competition, including the IMSA Camel GT series, Firehawk Series
and the SCCA Playboy Series. Carl and his staff of highly experienced,
professional driving instructors will be providing us with first class
instruction, catering to all levels of driving skills, from the novice to
the pro racing driver. For more information please visit http://www.drivingconcepts.com/.

Drivers of any experience level are welcome. There will be classroom
sessions, one on one instruction, LOTS of track time, and if qualified, a
chance to do some open lapping. You will learn how to handle and control
your vehicle at speeds not normally attained on public roads. It will also
allow you to explore your capabilities as a driver and those of your
vehicle. At no time will you be pushed to go any faster than what is
comfortable for you. Buttonwillow Raceway Park provides an exceptional
venue for this learning experience, with exceptional safety with minimal
walls and hazards. Visit http://www.buttonwillowraceway.com/ for more
information about the track.

Registration fee for this two-day course is $425 per driver/student. This
includes all instruction, written materials, catered lunch on both days, and
4 hours of track time! To register, go to http://www.drivingconcepts.com/application_menu.html and download and fill
out the *Generic Driving School Application* and fax or mail the application
to them. YOU MUST BE A CURRENT NSXCA MEMBER at the time of application; if
not, please add $40 to your registration fee.

A block of rooms are reserved for us for this event at the Motel 6 and the
Super 8 in Buttonwillow, at $38 per night Friday/Saturday night. Mention
the NSXCA/Driving Concepts driving school to get the special room rate.
