I'm in San Diego...anything happening(meetings, shows, etc)?

I just got in to SD today and I'm looking forward to going to some meetings, car shows, get togethers, etc... something to do!

Welcome to SD. =) Lets see if we can get some interest here in getting a group together for an event. Perhaps brunch on Sunday in Del Mar? Or Seaport Village? I'll be back down this weekend, so I'm down for an outing.

If you guys are interested we could meet in Poway at Starbucks then head over to Area 51 to shoot the breeze, don't Know if the Mark's will be around but I'll be working on my car (MB- I promise not to do any 'major" work :-))

I've never been over to Area 51. That sounds like an interesting option. =) I'm going to post a thread in the main area to see if we can garner some more interest. Go there and we can flesh it all out in more detail.

Here is some detail:

When:
Saturday July 6th, 4-8.00pm or so.

Where:

What:
A party of sorts. MB will be in SD July 2-7 installing BBSC's and doing
related tweaking. He is concerned that he will not eat enough so he wants
to make sure that he gets at least one big greasy cheeseburger that week,
hence the party.

How:
We will supply the burgers, buns and the drinks, please bring along some
chips or whatever. Since we are getting burgers we need a stomach count,
please give me a hint here or U may be the one to go hungry:
