Dead Car...anyone have a # where it can get towed and maybe paid??

I have a car that died- no chance of fixing it, its not wrecked but has a blown head. Not worth fixing it, and need it towed away.

I've seen commercials that will pay $$ to pick up the car "running or not" does anyone know this number?

Any type of cash for this would be great..preferably in Socal area..

Might be worth seeing what its worth before selling it for scrap.. meaning, a donation to charity might be more worth it to the bottom line?

Hey Leonard,
I heard this on the radio....call the Jewish Southern California Center...1800-936-HOPE. What they do is that they will come and tow your car for fee, and in return, there will be an IRS tax reduction based on the blue book value of the car. Might want to give it a try.
