Original 2002+ Stock Wheels for $279 ?

Wow, this seems like a great deal. Brand new wheels, (wheel) for under $280. Anyone have experience with these guys?

No lug nuts or center caps, but seems like a great deal to get a full set of brand new 2002+ wheels for under $1200.

It could be a decent deal if they actually had those wheels in stock. Call and find out how many they have. I very much doubt they even have one.

you really can get a set of 02 wheels for about that cheap. However they are replicas, not the real BBS made oem wheels.

i remember that there is one web site that have a white replica set in their inventory. around 1000 bucks. you can buy them and paint whatever color you want.

I wish I would have weighed them. I was in such a rush to get them mounted that I didn't. But they didn't seem heavy at all.

I will pull them off this winter to put on my winter wheels, so I can weight them with tires then, and probably use tirerack to get an estimate on how much the tire weighs to figure it out.

OEM replicas are generally cast, not forged. So, they're a few pounds heavier and not quite as strong. I just went through this process last month. If you want to get the replicas, make sure you call and find out if they are in stock before sending $. All the places I checked didn't have them, though the websites said "in stock". I ended up getting genuine forged OEM's from a Prime member. Check the parts for sale forum - there are usually sets available. A few hundred bucks more for the set, but worth it for OEM peace of mind and weight savings. Just my 2 cents.
