What tire size - advise needed

    Hi,

I'm currently toying with the idea of a set of street rims and thereby saving my 02's, soon to be with NSX-R tires for spirited use!

Current preference is to the Emotion XT-7's in 17/18 combo.

What tire size are owners with this combo running please? Have you retained OEM front size or gone up on the width?

    Options and thoughts welcomed

    regards, Paul

I would run 215-40 front and 265-35 rear

i like the 215 front and 245/40/18 much better, but then i have 9 inches rear.

the 265 is better with 9.5 but you might have more understeer.

    Actual rim sizes - 17x8.0 18x9.5

Would this push towards the wider tire choice?

Would the 35 vs 40 rear profile have an effect on the TCS as I dont want to mess the system balance. IIRC it is quite sensitive to front/rear rolling ratio.
