I will build up a race car of it. More of that later when I start to mod the car.

First thing what I will do is to strip the interior and then the NSX goes to HEIGO, a well known German roll-cage builder. I need a cage with DMSB papers - so I can not do the cage built in myself. I need the papers to be allowed in different competition cup races - what I will do in the future.

here is the companys HP: http://www.heigo-gmbh.de/

How cool is that Vin? The hundrest NSX off the factory :)

The following pics shows the condition when I picked the car up last week. Pretty good condition for 206000km.

what plans do you have for the car (besides the cage)? the car looks exceptionally clean for its age and mileage (kilometerage? haha).

I will built the car up similar to the ADAC GT CUP NSX which runned in 1994 in Europe. Infos here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ING3Cb7bO9s

I will put on AP racing BBK and a good track coilover system. Short tranny from ADAC GT NSX with several fd's and short gears - those were specialy made by Honda R&D and I also have the part list here from the ADAC NSX.

I will make the special brake cylinder setup like you see in the Video. Deleting the ABS system.

I/H/E, some weight savings, run on slicks with forged aluminium rims or BBS magnesium 3 piece rims.

I will not touch the engine (just put in stronger valve springs), cause this is gonna be too expensive then. I want to stay 3 litre n/a to run in the up to 3 litre class.

I will drive here: www.histo-cup.at

Love the La Bestia sticker! LOL

I was on the Dyno today. engine horsepower: 284
engine newtonmeter: 301

thats about 10+ over stock. It just has an Comptech ESD for now.

Great result and nice project !

If you can inform me on the place and the average price for the roll cage it would be nice because this will be one of my next mod.

It was thursday, 09.10.2008, 0300 AM. On the trace of the famous NSX GT cars. (ADAC and Le Mans cars)

Target 1 was Köln - arrives there at about 1130 AMr. I got 2 ADAC GT Cup NSX transmission with 3 different final drives (4.060, 4.400 and 4.785) and different 1-5th gear (one long and one shorter). The gears are all streight cutted, but using syncron-rings. Those are maybe the last 2 trannys from the ADAC GT NSX - developed by Honda R&D.

I also picked up a Tein coilover system and some BBS mag. rims.

Goal 2 was Hannover - arrived about 0530 PM. I made several pics of the maybe last ADAC GT Cup NSX in Europe. It was the first car built by Seikel Motorsports for the ADAC GT Cup in 1993.

Goal 3 was a small village and I drove to a small farm. There are some parts of one of 3 Le Mans GT NSX. Unibal arms made of Magnesium, Centerlock rims, GT wide bodykit molds, dry sump setup, brame pads and discs size XXL, ...etc. Those seems to be real GT parts from the Le Mans car which was built by Thompson Composite in England..

Totaly I drove 2060km (1280 miles) on one day. I made some awesome connections with important people who knows much about the 90is GT cars.

here are some pics.

amazing build up for this race nsx...

talk about some RARE race parts...

sequential tranny with different gear sets.
custom magnesium a-arms.
centerlock wheels.
dry sump system.

can't wait to see this thing in action!

I have already spoken with the thread starter about these parts.

Having seen the parts myself there is a mix of GT1 and GT2 parts, and that includes the body moulds. It would be impossible to just build another Le Mans car. Also, i have spoken to John Thompson and most blueprints were thrown out when he retired a few years back.

As mentioned on my site we came really close to buying these parts but Dirk scared us of by having 100% confidence a lot of bits were fake. I don't want to speak for him but i am aware he bought and then returned the parts with a resulting legal case.

As tantalising a prospect that they are, i would leave them well alone. The only thing worth having are the suspension arms and Springbok won't split the package.

Good luck with the project.

That tranny could be of huge value to the future community. It sure would be nice to mike all the parts inside that tranny for possible duplication. Ditto the sump works.

Speaking to MCT composites who built the car the Hewland transmission was dated and caused most of the DNFs with the car.

some news

Brought the NSX to Heigo. One of the best known roll cage builder in Europe. They are building for Porsche, Callaway, etc. Since 1970 well known for roll cage and very good quality work and high quality steel. I will also get a FIA certificate for that cage which allows me to run in race events all over the globe.

After desiding 3 month what suspension I should choose I ended up with the Comptech coilover kit. IT was in the Realtime NSX, so it is good enough for me too + I got a 50 miles used one for a decent price with an extra pair of springs.

Seems I am on the German side when it comes to wheels, suspension components and maybe the BBK too. Maybe Move-it will get the job for building me a kit, cause it was on the 24h Nurburg Ring NSX-R, so it is just good enough for me either. ;)

Well, I will decide between Tarox and Move-it. So Italia VS Germany.

Did not know the Realtime NSX was in an XBOX game. Cool!

Again, the Koni 2812 is a better suspension than the 3012 the comptech pro using. I have a set in my car and it works very very good. Since you are building a race car, the 2812 worth the extra money. (I justify to pay for the ease of the adjustability, besides the performance gain.)

pics of the ADAC GT tranny. I wonder what brand that LSD is, someone can tell it from this perspective? Looks not the same than the oem LSD
