Post First time at the drags!! Carlsbad Raceway

My stock 93 NSX 5-Speed, TCS off, launced at 4000RPMS, no powershift. Ran best for the day at:
    60 ft 2.14
    1/4 ET 13.55
    1/4 MPH 104.1

I was hoping to hit low 13s but I need to work on my launch and shifting.

I think the "popped" popup headlight slowed you down...

Your car has no mods whatsoever and with stock tires you ran a 13.55?

    Question

So did you win or did the Camaro win? My coworker just bought a new Camaro and wanted to race me at that same track.

I'm not into drag racing and I have never driven with the TCS off yet... but I have to try at least once.

My car ran with Nitto drag radials NT555R 225-50-16 on the stock 16"wheels
    Everything else is stock.

The Camaro won...it got me in the holeshot and the V8 kept pulling in the top end.
    it got 13.15 ET

What would be a good RPM to lanch at with stock tires?

13.5 is pretty good for a 3.0L stock NSX. I thought they ran high 13's stock, but I guess the Nitto's helped out.
