Disecting coolant hoses p/n

Since I'm tearing the car apart, I figure I might as well replace my coolant hoses while I'm at it.

I've decided I want to get the aftermarket, thicker, cooler looking ones for the 6 main hoses.. and then get the smaller OEM hoses.

Question is - can someone tell me which P/N I need to remove from this list?

Just recieved my hoses from Tim, @ honda acura world 2 weeks ago. Great pricing. A local nsx mechanic qouted me $800 for thermostat and hose replacement. I feel that is high, my friend is actually doing the job next weekend. Frank

$800 is for labor only?

How much are the complete set of hoses?

Finishing up collant hoses this weekend. Only have the mibble 3 left, then add the anti-freeze, and bleed the system. Actually, this job didn't take that long. So far took my mechanic 3-4 hours so far, and he wiped everything down and had me standing close by to make sure the new paint job didn't get damaged.:biggrin:Frank

Where did you guys get the hoses from?

Complete Hose Info :p

Hi guys,

i've done this recently, so i leave here all the Info about this "Hose Job"

I used a kit for the "Big 6" hoses from VENAIR and all the other ones, 16 of them, were OEM.

Hose Scheme from the Honda Online Catalogue:

Oil Cooler

Radiator Hose

Water Valve

All Hoses above, one by one:

Hose 01 Hose 02 Hose 03 Hose 04

Hose 05 Hose 06 Hose 07 Hose 08

Hose 09 Hose 10 Hose 11 Hose 12

Hose 13 Hose 14 Hose 15 Hose 16

All Hoses, 16 OEM and 6 Silicone (VENAIR):

OEM Silicone

Hope that this helps to clear all doubts

Thanks,
Nuno

first of all, thanks very much.... but man... with those kind of compliments, i may drown in my own drool

i really like to document everything i do the best i can, but sometimes the ich to install things is so intense, that i forgot to photo and when i realize, it's all already installed ...

Thanks once again,
Nuno

I have just got around to changing all my hoses. I've got a set of Venair silicone hoses to go on and was under the impression that the bottom radiator hose was included in the set of 6 hoses - Honda part 19501-PR7-A00?
That number is not included in the post by UnhuZ above as one to buy, so it leads me to believe it should be one of the 6, can somebody confirm please?

In the Venair kit, I think I have identified the top rad hose, two under floor hoses and the three hoses under the coolant tank that come from under the floor. All 6 accounted for?

RHD and LHD difference.
For RHD, you need 19501-PR7-000, not the –A01 (LHD).

Depending on the year model, DBW/non-DBW, MT/AT, RHD/LHD, the parts no. are different.

Personally, unless you are willing to check your coolant hoses regularly, I recommend using EPDM hose like the OEM ones and not the silicone ones on production cars.

Thanks Kaz,
I tailored my reply to this thread as that was the part number listed in the post above, just to keep the continuity. I already used your list from NSXCB for the correct RHD NA1 manual hoses and clips, cheers for that.

I went through the parts lists again anyway to familiarise myself with the locations of the various hoses, with their part numbers, for the install, and checked them off my list. I'm missing about 6 of the OEM hoses and some clips that weren't available when I ordered them a few years back. I will post up the Venair vs. OEM part numbers in this thread for reference when I get all of them.

My question was just to confirm whether I'm missing that hose from the Venair kit or it was not included anyway.

Hi NSXGB,

my VENAIR kit came with 6 hoses:

- 2 for the radiator,
- 2 for the tunel under the car
- 2 big ones under the expansion tank

there are 3 under the expansion tank, but only 2 are as thick
as the other big ones.

As Kaz always mention, RHD is different... my PNs are for LHD ;)

Thanks,
Nuno

Thanks for clarifying what was in your kit Unhuz.

I was aware that the parts are different for RHD & LHD, I kept the part number in this thread in line with all those with their steering wheels on the wrong side of their cars :)
